Kroger Recalls Bad Beef Following E. Coli Scare

What's the deal with all of the food recalls these days? Last week in was tomatoes having to be returned to stores after a Salmonella outbreak in 17 states. A few months ago Popeye almost died from scurvy and botulism as tainted cans of spinach plagued the nation.

In the latest mass recall of dangerous food, Kroger grocery store is recalling all ground beef sold in Michigan and Central/North Ohio between the dates of May 21 to June 8. If you bought some beef from Kroger in between those two dates, congratulations! You just won yourself a case of potential E. coli.

On the plus side, if you're trying to lose weight to show off a good figure this summer, the E. coli may just help you with that.

Shock and awe at Wimbledon as 150+ seeded Russian Alla Kudryavtseva beat the eye-candy, tennis playing phenom known as Maria Sharapova.

Sharapova was far off her game today, and the hungry --previously pretty much unknown-- Alla Kudryatseva was on the prowl. Matching Sharapova move for move, Kudryavtseva quickly put down the number 3 ranked tennis star Sharapova 6-2 6-4.

Maria had this to say after the match:

"I felt that I wasn't playing my game. I was letting her take control of the majority of the points."
