Matt Drudge Reveals Prince Harry Has Been Fighting In Afghanistan on DrudgeReport.com
As many savvy internet users know, website DrudgeReport.com has grown into a one-shop pit-stop to check out daily links to various 'Global News' events that have taken place around the world.
It's fairly simple in design and function. A story breaks, users 'email' a tip to the site and if it's all legit, the site posts it. There is a bit of a conservative slant to links, though that has waned as Bush's presidency continues to sink in popularity.
The site first gained notoriety following the Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky affair. It was the first site on the web to publish something about the story, apparently tipped by a DC insider.
With that, Drudge (which is run by Matt Drudge) is again in media spotlight for a new, breaking story it has broken. Only this time it has caused more political chaos, outrage (some faux and some true) and discussion as it revealed British royal Prince Harry has been fighting in Afghanistan, on the lines in the most dangerous zones with fellow British troops, ever since December.
Now while such news is indeed breaking, this was probably kept secret for a reason. Such knowledge would likely INCREASE the danger Harry is in over there, but ALL of the rest of the troops in his unit as well. You don't put neon lights on a gold nugget whilst sitting in a pit of thieves.
At any rate, Prince Harry has now been forced to pull from Afghanistan after serving in secret for the past 3 months.

The Pentagon Has A Ray Gun...Whoa, Wait, WTF?! Ray Gun?
Upon checking the inbox today in the office before rounds, there was a nice little message from a friend: "Reporters Gets Zapped by New Pentagon Ray Gun".
"Sweet", I thought, "alien blasto ray guns." That's when reality slapped me across the face. The Pentagon is proving the 'ray gun' is safe for use by zorching a reporter. Oh oh.
Upon further review, it seems this new weapon in the US arsenal can be used in war zones. Here's the kicker though..."or dispersing crowds." Yeah. Insert cynical comment here. At any rate, here's the video footage of this in action. Don't think you can just hide from this new weapon.
Teens Kicked off SouthWest Airlines Flight For Being 'Too Pretty'
ShoutWire readers may recall a story featured on the front page in 2007, where a young woman named Kyla Ebert was deeemed 'Too Sexy for Flight' by SouthWest Airlines and kicked off the flight. Her short, white skirt allegedly showed off a bit too much fleshy bits.
That story immediately resulted in a media frenzy, Kyla doing a battery of talk shows, getting a day with Sir Richard Branson and a final triumph in posing nude for Playboy. Say what? Yeah, that always seems to be the natural ending for these types of things.
At any rate, it seems once again SouthWest Airlines is in the media spotlight, this time for kicking teen girls off a plane for being 'too pretty'. Here we go again:

Man Shot Five Times By Woman He Met In Chat
If there's one thing we can never stress enough to you, men, it's this: always assume any 'woman' you meet on an online chat or over the phone is a big, fat hairy trucker named Earl from East Texas. He wears a cheeto-stained white shirt, has a grimy beard and thinks 'yer mouf is reeeeall purrty, like a pigs'.
When you fail to follow such advice, you always end up on the bad end of things. This holds true even if it turns out you were talking to a woman. Observe.
Detroit TV Anchor Suzanne Page Wangler Found Dead
In somewhat shocking news across the wire today, former Detroit TV Anchor Suzanne Page Wangler was found dead in her home.
Police are currently investigating the nature of the TV news reporter and anchor. Her body was found Saturday afternoon in Royal Oak, Michigan. According to police reports a relative came upon her Saturday afternoon and found that she was unresponsive.
Wangler made headlines earlier following a scandal in which she was facing felony charges for allegedly embezzling $149,000 from a former boyfriend.
